Spring is coming and that means it’s once again time for Treadles to Threads’ spinning day at Retzlaff Winery in Livermore. An important change this year is the date. Rather than our usual first Saturday in June, we have had to up the date to Saturday, May 25th. Lots of you have asked why, and the main reason is we did not want to compete with our members, or participants, who are going to the CNCH Conference in the Lake Tahoe area this year.
Our participation in CNCH Conferences is just as important to us as our own Winery event. Unfortunately, the later weeks in June did not work either. So make your plans now, and put May 25th on your calendar for this fun event that brings you to Livermore’s wine country.
Bring yourself, bring a group, bring a food dish to share for a big potluck and be prepared to relax, spin and meet spinners from all over the Bay Area.
Once again, there will be fleeces, fiber, yarn and much more to look at and to purchase. Our group of California Vendors invites you to come and take a look at their carefully grown and processed local fleeces and fiber. Come and share the day with your fellow fiber enthusiasts.
