Join us for a Bunny Bonanza with Erica Fire at the Berkeley Rep Scenic
Studios At the corner of 8th and Harrison Streets $25 per student.
Create beautiful luxury yarn with angora rabbit fur. Erica Fire presents
an intensive hands-on class on all things bunny. Erica will discuss
sourcing rabbit fiber, combining this luxury fiber with other materials (a
little goes a long way), and will demonstrate various approaches to
spinning this unique fiber. Bring a spinning wheel, hand combs if you have
them, as well as your own lunch.Fluffy fiber from various breeds of rabbit
will be provided. Limit 12 students per class.

On Sunday January 26th, at our regular guild meeting, Erica Fire will
demonstrate the essentials of working with rabbit fiber, and will discuss
her long-term involvement with rabbits as fiber animals. Pure breed
angoras are not the only rabbits that will produce glorious luxury fibers.
Erica will share her experiences working with the fiber of
rescue-rabbits.This is sure to be a memorable event. Erica is a delightful
speaker, combining years of experience and a rigorous analytical approach
with an effervescent sense of humor. You’ll learn, you’ll laugh,
you’ll go home wondering if you could add a rabbit or two to your life.
Meeting is free for members, and $5 for non-members. Please bring a quiet
project and a bag lunch.
