We have all had a hugely busy Summer! Many of us went to Reno to partake of the Convergence experience and I haven’t heard one complaint about the activities, the classes or the venue–other than at times the classrooms were too cold.
There was plenty to do and see and the shopping was worthwhile–especially for the vendors who all looked very happy during their stay.
In our next issue we will find out the undercover story of “Putting on the Glitz” and recognize the unsung heroes of that event as well as find out about the friendly competitions that took place.
Our calendars are quickly filling up with upcoming Fair demos, Guild meetings and -OMG- the Holidays.
Do you make any Holiday decorations or presents? Send me pictures and an article and I’ll share it with all the 1500+ CNCH members. Does your Guild do a special fiber type of outreach for the Holidays? If so, ditto!
This is your chance to tell the California/Nevada weaving communities what is happening and what is planned in your neck of the woods.
I hope to hear from you soon,
