I hope you’ve enjoyed this issue of CNCHnet. Remember, this publication is not only for you and about you. Most importantly, it is by you.
My job as Editor is to come up with ideas for each issue and then to look for people, preferably Guild members, who can write about the subject that has been picked for our webzine.
The subject for the February 2012 issue will be FELTING in all its shapes and forms. Do you felt? How about other members in your Guild? Well, write up what you did, and send it, along with pictures (in jpg format please) to me. Most likely you will see yourself on the pages of CNCHnet!
I am always looking for general interest articles, too. How about a profile of a doyenne in your Guild? Tell us why she is a treasure in your Guild and list her accomplishments. I always find articles like that inspiring. How about reviewing a new weaving book or writing a review of a show featuring fiber arts? Tell us what inspired you to weave, knit, spin, felt and/or play with fibers in some other way. Have you found a new way or a new tool to use in your artistic endeavors? All of these things and many others are possible articles for CNCHnet and I want to know about your ideas.
I can be contacted by e-mail: editor(at)CNCH.org
I’m looking forward to hearing from you,
Judy Fisher, Editor
