GRANT SILENT AUCTION
You can help someone attend the conference!!
The Silent Auction raises funds for CNCH registration grants, which are awarded annually to 5 recipients, one from each CNCH geographic Area. (If you’re interested in applying, here is the application).
A tradition of auctioning vessels full of fiber goodies will be repeated again this year.
This year’s Grant Silent Auction Theme will be a tote filled with inspiration. Think exotic fibers, vibrant colors and distant lands.
Ideally, each guild will put together a tote; individuals are also welcome to produce their own tote. The tote should include everything needed for a complete project: yarn, fiber, basket making materials, etc. and ideas/instructions for one or two different items that can be made from the contents of the tote.
The totes can be dropped off at the start of the conference (at Merrill Hall), or you may make other arrangements by contacting Lee at seeitchaseit@volcano.net
At the conference, you’ll have a chance to write down your bid for a favorite tote. The winning bids will be announced on Saturday night.
Finished projects using your tote full of fun will be displayed in a special gallery at CNCH 2026 and be eligible for a People’s Choice Award!
