CNCH Conference Grant Information and Requirements
- To be eligible for the grant, the applicant must be a member in good standing of a guild which is a member of CNCH, Inc. Applicant must not have been awarded this grant in the past five years.
- Five grants are available in the amount of $500 for CNCH 2025 Conference, one for each Area.
- The grant committee consists of at least three members from the CNCH Advisory Board. The committee does not have access to applicant’s names.
- Applications will be available October 1, 2024 on the web site, www.cnch.org, or by contacting the CNCH Executive Director, Erin Maclean, at advisory@CNCH.org
- Awards will not be made on the basis of financial need. The applicant will describe their fiber interests and reasons for wanting to attend CNCH 2025. Selection will be based on both the applicant’s personal goals and on how they plan to share their experience with their guild.
- Application are due by December 12, 2024. The grant committee will make its selection for the awards by Friday, January 5, 2025. Grant recipients will be provided a 2025 Registration Coupon Code value of $500. Online registration opens January 15, 2025.
- If the recipient is unable to attend CNCH 2025 for any reason, the recipient must notify the CNCH committee as early as possible for the committee to be able to award the grant to another individual in the same workshop. If this isn’t possible, the recipient is liable for the $100 cancelation fee, and the workshop materials fee.
- If the recipient does not attend the conference, full registration cost must be returned to CNCH, Inc.
