6 hour workshop: Saturday 1-4 to Sunday 9-12
Faces, wonderfully expressive, will be the subject of this workshop as an introduction to tapestry weaving or, for intermediate or advanced weavers, to further explore this rich medium. Each participant will be provided with a small, warped loom. Students who would like to bring their own tapestry looms may contact the instructor. Yarns, tools and art supplies will be provided. Students will begin by choosing an image of a face or designing their own. This quick sketch will be their guide, or cartoon, to weave from. Students will finish the class with a tapestry to take home.

Materials Fee: $15 includes yarns, tools and art supplies.
Students to Bring: pair of scissors, a small basket or bag to take your materials,
art supplies (paper, colored pencils or any medium to create a sketch from which
to weave).
