12 hour workshop: Friday 1-4, Saturday 9-12, Saturday 1-4, Sunday 9-12
Knitted pile is the ultimate in luxurious fabrics, woven for centuries on simple looms with simple tools. We will learn this ancient but basic weaving technique and create a small cut pile bag. We will design an image, and begin weaving the project. Construction and finishing techniques, including a cardwoven band for a handle, will end the session.

Materials Fee: $55 includes tools, yarns for pile, warp and card weaving, and complete handouts.
Students to Bring: Own loom from home, either a rigid heddle, table loom or copper pipe frame loom (plans sent on request)
